Job description / Role
Develop business for territory and target markets to meet or exceed sales, profitability and customer satisfaction objectives.
Specify company's products in design offices such as Consultants, Architects, Interior Designers, Mechanical Engineers and Contractors.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the company products, functions, features and benefits.
Provide specifications and quotes to prospective clients.
Follow up with local distributors periodically to ensure that technical and engineering requirements are met.
Execute tactical implementation of the business plan to meet objectives, including activities such as following up on sales leads, developing quotations, meeting with prospect clients.
Conduct systematic project site visits where first hand data are gathered and discuss drawings and solutions with clients.
Interface and provide regular sales forecasts and reports, feedback on market competition, product and system offerings and operations strategies to Management.
Follow up on all outstanding dues to be collected within set due time period.
Maintain detailed and accurate business and client contact database for fast and efficient tracking and follow up.
Requirements
Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the field; Electrical Engineering or/ Civil Engineering/or Mechanical Engineering
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in sales and knowledge of technology in a similar field.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly to groups to create and deliver effective presentations.
Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches and the ability to build relationships with clients quickly.
Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process and deliver assignments with minimum supervision.
