OMATRA (Orient Marketing and Trading Company) is a premier truck, bus and concrete equipment company in the Middle East spanning Saudi Arabia, Syria and Lebanon. Acquired by Al-Futtaim in 2013, OMATRA is known across the region as the distributor for IVECO and ASTRA trucks, IVECO buses and CIFA concrete mixers and pumps. Founded in 1977, OMATRA today has five branches in Saudi Arabia with plans to expand up to 12 branches over the next three years which includes parts and service facilities. OMATRA is headquartered in Jeddah and has a total workforce of 250 employees.

Following Al-Futtaim's acquisition, OMATRA is now managed by FAMCO (Al-Futtaim Auto and Machinery Company) which is the region's leading supplier of commercial vehicles and industrial machinery. Under the new management, OMATRA is being transformed into an employee focused organisation where both the business and associates can grow together, while striving to provide the highest levels of customer service.

JOB PURPOSE

* To plan, organize and achieve the sales targets of truck & other assigned products.
* To understand customer needs both technically and commercially and offering them best solutions.
* To be able to perform sales applications activities for himself and other team members.
* To identify market opportunities and exploring new segments.
* To achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
* To report competitors activities, lost reports and directions to achieve edge over competitors

Reporting to: Sales Manager
In absence reporting to: Branch Manager or Regional Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

To draw up a sales plan for establishing the overall sales requirement of IVECO & other products for the defined region.

To gain complete product knowledge and be able to perform sales applications studies.

To be able to suggest accurate specifications of the products according to site conditions and customer requirements.

To be able to advise product improvements and specifications according to market needs and competitors offerings.

To achieve and strive to exceed targets in unit sales and profits in accordance with the Company's Gross Profit Goal.

Maintaining and developing relationships with customers and prospects via meetings, telephone calls and emails.

To ensure daily visits to prospective customers for new sales.

To maintain complete knowledge of market and upcoming opportunities.

To do pricing, quotation preparation accurately, follow up of submitted quotations and closing sales in benefit to company.

To prepare weekly/monthly activity plans and to ensure its effectiveness.

Preparation of periodic (Weekly / Monthly) sales reports.

To assist in monitoring any deviations from the regional targets, plans and strategies and investigate for taking corrective action and help draw up plans to counteract unfavorable results.

To provide regular feedback from the market on competitor activities, pricing policy for products, parts & services.

To exercise credit control as per the company credit policy and to ensure the recovery within the stipulated time.

Representing organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.

To ensure compliance with overall KPIs.

Any other duty or responsibility which may be advised or delegated by supervisor.

Requirements

You will have the following skills and experience:

* Preferably also MBA in Sales & Marketing with minimum experience of 3 years in relevant field.
* At least 5 years experience in the commercial vehicles or related industry, with at least 3 of these years working within the local KSA market
* You should have a valid KSA driving license
* Must be an Arabic speaker
* BSc. Mechanical or any other related Engineering degree
