Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Well developed knowledge of filtration principles
- Experience in writing and presenting engineering proposals
- Experience from within the Water Treatment industry
- Excellent communication skills including influencing and negotiating ability
- Proven ability to work independently and leverage global resources from your colleagues
- Proven experience managing complete sales cycles from first call to close
- Ideally a degree in either Chemical or Mechanical engineering
- Proven technical and commercial experience of the Water treatment market/industry
- Written and spoken English is essential, Arabic highly advantageous
- Experience of Process Design, Engineering and Product Design
- Commercial awareness essential
- Sales experience related to water treatment components such as pumps, chemicals, membranes, etc. essential
- Experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals & Power Industry would be valuable
- Knowledge of the major processes within the water treatment industry: including filtration, membrane and cartridge filtration, reverse osmosis, waste water treatment with membrane bio-reactors, etc.
- Computer skills Lotus notes, Microsoft Office
- Commercial knowledge and experience relating to contract negotiation, Letter of credits, etc.

Requirements

- Market knowledge of customers and competitors
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
- Holding a valid driving license and passport is essential
- Office based but capable of working remotely away from the office
- Prepared to travel often (10%) in other countries
- Develop and maintain relationships with Industrial Water Customers (existing/new business)
- Develop business opportunities and secure new orders with our Water Customer Accounts
- Identify key projects with and for our Customer Accounts
- Prepare and agree Sales Action Plans with financial targets
- Monitor and report sales against the agreed sales targets and Sales Action Plans
- Manage technical and commercial evaluation and acceptance / rejection of enquiries received either directly from the Customer or via the office
- Manage specific projects and enquiries from conception through the quotation stage to order closure
- Manage commercial evaluation of enquiries, reparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals
- Undertake post submission clarification and negotiations
- Work with applicable Engineering Groups and Company's Industrial Global colleagues with a view to developing and securing new business by proposing cost effective solutions
- Develop Market Intelligence
- Responsible for bi-monthly reporting (visits, action plans, target reviews)
