Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to work for a leading water engineering company in the UAE.

Client profile:
Provide water management solutions in the emerging markets with operations covering three business areas: design and build, specialty chemicals, and utilities.
They provide comprehensive and advanced solutions across the full spectrum of its industry, from clean to dirty water

Job Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager
To achieve sales targets by selling Water and Wastewater treatment Systems.
Key Responsibilities: (as follows but not limited to)
Develop the current business volume and establish new contacts.
Identify potential opportunities and follow them up to achieve Sales Target.
Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies and the latest product-line developments.
Ensures company products are at the forefront of the market; surveys market potential; identifies potential clients; conduct sales presentations to clients to promote the products.
Generates inquiries by visiting established clients, reviews inquiry specification, carries out site surveys, field analyses and interviews clients to ensure needs are clearly understood.
Establish friendly and professional relationships with clients; always ensure prompt and reliable service in area of responsibility.
Advises Sales Manager regarding market trends and competition activities providing suggestions on how to capitalise on the markets to achieve overall company goals.
Propose new products developments and suggest improvements whenever opportunity arises.
Implement sale strategies to achieve maximum sales volume.
Prepare sales quotations in line with company pricing policy and environment of the project; prepares regular and periodical sales reports; updates sales forecast on a monthly basis to ensure that inventories and capacities are adequate.
Co-ordinate with Finance on payments due from clients; follow-up with clients to ensure that payments are available for collection by us.
Attends monthly team meetings; performs any other work related duties as directed by the Sales Manager

Main Liaison
Proposals, Engineering, Electrical, Projects, Procurement, Shipping, Stores, Warehouse & Finance Department

Requirements

Must have 3 years + experience
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Must be an assertive team player, result orientated and willing to take challenges to achieve aggressive targets
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Experience in selling Water and Waste Water treatment Systems.
