Sales Engineer

Job description / Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Engineer on a full-time permanent basis to join our rapidly expanding team. This position will provide prospecting, and interaction with presales internal technical team & existing customers. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional experienced in working within a highly dynamic sales environment, who understands the demands of a fast growing company. The successful candidate will have a strong projects Sales background.

Responsibilities:
- Identifying and prospecting for new business.
- Organising sales visits.
- Liaising with existing clients.
- Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations.
- Providing sales support.
- Writing reports.
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
- Ensuring that targets are met.

Requirements

Required Skills:
- 5+ years total industry experience, with 3+ project and/or Enterprise solutions selling experience.
- Strong negotiating, communication and selling skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of sales and tendering process.
- Product knowledge in IT.
- Able to respond to functional and technical elements of tenders.
- Technical understanding & problem solving abilities.
- Ability to positively contribute to a dynamic and exciting team environment.
- Professional appearance and presentation required.
- Maintain a focus on continuing education as new solutions emerge.

Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Good work habits and the ability to effectively prioritize work.
- Some knowledge of Digital Signage, IPTV, AV & Physical Security systems preferred.
- Sound knowledge of the assigned market, including competition information.
- UAE driving licence is preferred.
