Job description / Role
My client, an up and coming construction company, are looking for individuals who can join his team in order to stimulate business development within the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical sales support through telephone, client meetings email communication
- Create engineering product submittals for field personnel to facilitate the sale of key products
- Meet assigned deadlines for project assignments
- Remain current in market knowledge and have a good understanding of what is technically required with each customer
- Collect customer data and provide leads to field engineers in order to maximize coverage and penetration in the field
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil / structural engineering preferred
- Good amount of experience within a technical sales role previously
- Communicate effectively with engineers, architects and contractors through verbal and written response
- Organize and utilize large amounts of reference information both in hardcopy and electronic files
- Function effectively in a team environment
- Read and understand construction documents including plans, details and specifications
- Effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
