Sales Engineer

Job description / Role

Objective: Sales Engineer required for U.S. based company to cover GCC area.
Main responsibilities: Make Sales and Technical Sales calls to engineering firms, contractors, and local distributors.
Develop and maintain relationships with large construction firms to promote U.S. made plumbing products.
Create and Maintain customer database in the region with contact information and sales call reports.
Provide training to local contractors on installation aspects of the products.
Address any product complaints or issues with customers as needed.
File expense reports related to travel in the region.

Reporting to: International Sales Manager for the Middle East
Number required: 1
Duration: Permanent Position with 2 year contract
Desired start date: July 1, 2014
Probation: 6 months
Working hours: Sunday-Thursday 9 am to 6 pm
Travel requirements: GCC Countries
Gross monthly base salary: To be determined
Commission / Bonus: Bonus
Other Benefits: To be negotiated

Requirements

University Qualifications: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Nature and length of previous experience: 2 Years Previous Sales Experience
Specialist knowledge: Experience in selling to large construction companies preferred.
Previous experience with U.S. companies encouraged.
Soft Skills and Personality traits: Sales, Problem Solving, Ability to read MEP drawings
Age Range: 25 to 45 years old
Gender Preference: Male
Language Fluency: English, Arabic
