Job description / Role
Al-Futtaim Automotive is regarded as a pioneer in the lower Gulf region's automotive industry and encompasses every aspect of the automotive business, from passenger and commercial vehicles and construction equipment, sales and service to used car sales, rental and leasing. Al-Futtaim represents some of the world's most popular and desirable automotive brands including brands including Toyota, Honda, Lexus, Hino, Volvo, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Dodge. We are currently building our talent pool of experienced Sales Executives for Hino & Volvo Trucks and Material Handling Equipment to work from our UAE based operations.
Your main duties within the role include the following:
* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
* Achieve pre-determined gross margin on sales
* Give a regular feedback on the market & competitors' activities to the management via prompt and regular reporting
* Enhance customer base in the designated region
* Achieve and maintain high CSI rating
* Pro-active involvement and contribution towards the growth of the Department
* Work within the parameters of company guidelines
* Arrange and facilitate meetings between principals and customers whenever required, for market survey exercises
* Work closely with the sales admin and marketing staff as a good team player and provide support whenever required
* Maintain a high level of integrity while performing the above functions
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
* Experienced sales professional with high sales negotiation & closing as well as sales management skills
* Degree in Engineering, Commerce or equivalent
* At least 5 years' experience in the commercial vehicles or related industry, with at least 3 of these years working within the local UAE or GCC market
* Adequate knowledge of the local truck market
* Adequate technical knowledge of trucks and super structures
* Should have an existing customer base in the local or GCC market for commercial vehicles
* Preferably with valid UAE driving license
* Good computer skills and thorough knowledge of MS Office
* Excellent communications skills
* Good command in English language (both written & spoken)
* Arabic speakers are of definite advantage
* Should have an outgoing and friendly personality and be a team player
