Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Process and execute the import & export customs and compliance documentation across warehouses and all products and business areas
- Coordinate with internal (finance, production, etc) and external (logistics service providers) agencies for preparation of commercial documents and shipping / transport documents
- Handle Inbound & Outbound Logistics operations of all products and business areas, ensure Customs Clearance and Compliance to local laws during execution.
- Translate sales forecast into dispatch planning in collaboration with Logistics Officer and Plant Manager
- Propose innovative solutions to answer specific customer needs
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve sales administration department responsible for order intake and processing (from receipt of the contract till final delivery of the ordered goods at customers site or as the case may be)
- Manage contracts administration
- Follow and regularly review the delivery plan with Logistics officer / Sales Administrator
- Preparation of all commercial documents such as delivery note, dispatch slip, weigh bridge slips, packing list, invoices, etc.
- Answer incoming calls, e-mails, faxes and post from customers, sales representatives, transporters and shipping lines
- Ensure dispatch only of right product & packing type for the customers. In absence of Logistics Officer update customers with information on delays, vehicle /vessel schedules
- Supports the sales force in dealing with key prospects for example dispatch of samples
- Gather and centralize information both from the clients and from the plants
- Prepare reports and statistics regarding daily delivery, forecasts for both local as well as export customers

Requirements

- University Degree in Economics/Commerce/Science
- Minimum of 3 years in Logistics/Shipping or equivalent is a must
- Fluent in English, written & spoken
- Organized & punctual
- Precise, accurate with a high level of attention to detail
- Flexible and motivated to get the job done within specific time constraints
- Experience of shipping lines, containers, cargo, customs documentation is essential
- Excellent Customer Service & communication skills
- Team spirited
- Initiative, forward thinking & problem solving attitude
- Energetic & willing to learn
- Good MS Office - Excel & Word
- Experience of a major ERP is a plus
