Employment: Full Time

Our client, an established company involved with various different business streams, seeks to employ an FMCG Sales Manager for their Doha office.

This role ensures the divisions top line (sales budget) is achieved in line with principal/ customer satisfaction through a motivated sales team. This second line management role leads supervisors towards achieving the short - to medium term multi functional department goals.

The sales Manager Works in a fast paced broadly predictable sales environment, drawing on available financial and marketing intelligence, with predefined medium term goals and brand strategies.This role will have Considerable impact on the sales department level and high impact at the business unit level (division) within the inventory, marketing and financial functions.

Responsibilities:
- Interfacing with Customer/ supplier at their first and second line management levels for annual budgeting and sales forecasting
- Liaises with the suppliers market managers in devising marketing tactics and marketing spend
- Negotiates with customers on the allocated marketing spend
- Address stock listing, availability, visibility and expiry issues within prescribed guidelines
- Liaises with the logistics function to ensure timely clearing, storing and delivery of stock
- Responsible for debt recovery and provides support to accounting team for reconciliations
- Provides direct supervision to subordinates including objective setting, performance management, and motivating, as well as training and coaching.
- Management responsibility encompasses only the sales working group
- Provides insights from knowledge acquired through multiple data sources such as Essbase, EPOS, Market reports (AC Nielson) to ensure forecast accuracy, ROI and devising key account plans and distribution.
- Analyze market trends to provide inputs for new agency evaluations
- Uses creativity in improving brand visibility and off take within all trade segments
- Takes creative approaches in using existing resources in handling seasonal spikes
- Takes part in creating an innovation culture
- Responsible to ensure inventory levels as per the guidelines
- Responsible for stock rotation
- Liaises with the trade marketing team to ensure trade marketing plans and budgets are adhered to
- Provides inputs towards the short and medium term strategic planning process for the division
- Facilitates the achievement of short term and medium term strategic goals of the division

Requirements

- University Degree holder
- 3-5 years expertise in FMCG sales management, people management within a FMCG distributor in the Gulf or FMCG MNC in the Gulf
