Sales Manager – Oil & Gas Sector
• Responsible for all Tendering, Procurement & Purchasing activities on assigned jobs / projects which required a high degree of professional integrity, ethics, and confidentiality
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
AGENCIES AGREEMENTS (AG)
•Identify potential resources & suitable manufacturers
•Develop long term Business Plan & strategy and provide supporting docs/info to the head of department in order to review the same & obtain approval from Management
•Communicate with the manufacturers on regular basis through meeting, presentation, submission of business plan & detailed discussion.
•Identify the products/services of agencies represented by the company
•Co-ordinate with Manufacturer for getting relevant supporting documents for submission & follow up with Client for any additional required info/docs.
•Identify the source potential for demand of products/services of agencies represented by the company & market them
LONG TERM SUPPLY AGREEMENT (LT) & SHORT-TERM RFQ/RFP (S.T)
•Reviewing technical specs specified in the RFQ & communicates with Client for any clarification.
•Identify suitable manufacturers & suppliers & float initiate RFQ/RFP
•Interacting with the traders, manufacturers and indenting agents for technical & commercial negotiation
•Prepare Technical Evaluation Sheet(TES) & Costing Sheet (CS) and get approval from Head of Dept(HOD) , Sales Manager (S.M) & Finance Department (FD)
•Verify all required supporting documents along with tender original & submit the offer on closing date by right time.
STOCKING THE MATERIAL (SK)
•Identify the special items from the Long term Purchase Orders (Blanket Purchase Order) & stock those items by considering as stock pile item with critical delivery time.
•Update status of those items in a tracking system
DAILY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to the following:
•Update the tracking system in the common sharing Folder.
•Send Daily Activity Report (DAR) by mail to HOD & CC Sales Manager (S.M) & Chairman on regular basis not later than next working day at 9.00AM.
•Send Weekly report in a company approved format not later than every Thursday at 9.00AM
•Attend the weekly meeting & discussion on outstanding issues
Education : A Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum/Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 5 years experience in selling Oil & Gas fields requirements & equipment in the GCC Countries
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
•Strong leadership skills with excellent experience in people manager, able to lead multidisciplinary teams and install a motivating environment.
•Experience in complexes management & problem-solver
•Self starter with lots of energy
•Strong technical and analytical skills and demonstrate the necessary organizational capabilities. Technical Evaluation & Vendor clarification
•Excellent communication skills with techno commercial acumen
•Fluent in English, written and oral is essential.
•Excellent overall Project & Target Planning
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Excellent presentation and reporting skills
•Excellent experience in leading petroleum/production teams, directing technical work and in planning and executing related projects
•Adaptability to different cultures and perspectives
•Thorough understanding of petroleum and production engineering techniques and methodologies
•Strong expertise in leading petroleum/production engineering teams, aligned field personnel and external service companies.
