Sales Manager (Tires)

Job description / Role

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in Qatar with the assigned Brands. Manages a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Accountable for establishing sales plans to meet objectives, expand customer base and be on top of competitive developments in the market.

- Ensure that the sales force are properly equipped, trained and motivated to achieve their objectives.
- Develop good relationships with existing and potential customers to meet sales targets and ensure consistent long term business.
- Pursue identified new business opportunities through regular contact with potential customers and close analysis of the market.
- Contribute to long term profitability of the business through innovation and aggressive sales activities.
- Good knowledge of industry trends, accurate forecast of market demand and ability to identify new markets.
- Review sales plans to ensure alignment with objectives of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Responsible for volume, value, contribution margin and receivables.
- Review receivables in timely manner and ensure that the outstanding are secured and collected in accordance with the agreed credit terms.
- Working with marketing for advertising and promotions.
- Work in market on a regular basis with sales team to assist them in managing customer issues and improving performance.
- Keep track of competitor activities & developments in the market to initiate proactive actions using the market intelligence.
- This position will be reporting to the General Sales Manager

Requirements

- Required Experience : Min 10 Years in Tires.
- Candidates should have experience in GCC countries in the similar role.
- Preference shall be given to candidates who speaks Arabic.
- Should have a graduate in Commerce/Business, MBA also preferred.
