One of the world's most respected brands is looking for an exceptional Used Car Sales Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business in the UAE who is both highly respected and highly successful. To be considered, the successful candidate will have either new or used car sales exposure and must be a confident leader of sales executives, ideally from a premium brand background. Arabic language is not essential although desirable

The job holder is responsible for providing support primarily to enhance new car sales and overseeing the buying and trading operations for used cars to convert the transaction into a profit opportunity for the Business Unit. The role involves ensuring the business unit achieves the Sales and Customer Service targets set annually in conjunction with the Retail Sales Manager.

Requirements

• Proposes a buying and selling strategy for used cars to achieve unit sales, gross profit and net profit.
• This includes recommending strategies to increase stock
• Ensures stock availability at all times to feed the used car sales channels and achieve revenue for the business unit. This includes ensuring in house courtesy cars, demo cars and management cars are inspected and available along with the external customer trading cars, managing ageing stock and ensuring the maintenance and display of cars
• Oversees the sales of used cars by the team to ensure the sale process as per guidelines set by the Principal is followed adequately
• Manages business costs such as marketing spend across BU operations to optimize revenue
• Monitors sales and pricing trends as well as current market conditions to monitor and review price estimates related to trading and sales of used cars
• Generates an Assortment Strategy to understand best selling models and assist with used car valuation
• Plays a vital role in internal vehicle ordering to ensure the liquidation of such models is timely and profitable
• Maintains and builds a business network to enable sales of non-brand and non-retail used cars. This includes carrying out abiding process to arrive at decisions on how fit the car is for retail or dealer sales
• Attends regular meetings with the Line Manager to provide feedback on the unit’s performance and resolve complex issues if any
• Conducts team meetings on a daily basis to plans stock for day-day to sales achieved
• Trains and develops the team in all sales related activities to ensure they achieve the revenue and customer service targets assigned on an annual basis. This includes reviewing and assessing monthly targets with the team to monitor sales progress and provide feedback on performance as needed
• Provides support to the team to resolve all escalated customer issues such as repair costs or trading a used car which is out of warranty

• To be considered for this role:

• Must have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field, preferably Commerce/BusinessManagement
• UAE driver’s Licence
• Strong knowledge of local used car market
• Sound technical knowledge of passenger car brands
• Relationship management skills
• Written and verbal communication in English (other regionally spoken languages including Arabic
• would be an added advantage)
• Proficient in MSWord and Excel
• Minimum 6-7 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, out of which 3 years must be in a supervisory capacity
• Must be proactive

• Be Energetic
