The RoleThe RoleFor an International company based in the UAE, we are looking for a Sales Manager to join the Abu Dhabi team. This person will be employed to develop the Offshore Structural Steel division within the UAE and the GCC. You will be required to approach existing customers as well as potential customers to promote and sell the companies capabilities. You will be visiting the sites and yards to understand the needs of the clients assisting technically the engineering team in specifying the required material, securing the requirements from the procurement division and assuring the customer’s management of our dedicated support. |
RequirementsRequirementsApplicants should have substantial commercial awareness of the UAE and other GCC countries structural steel market in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry: The contractors, the prefabricators and the established suppliers locally and internationally - knowledge of the building infrastructure market will be an added advantage, knowledge on the various products (tubular, shapes and plates…) and their various grades and standards, capabilities to analyse the requirement and propose alternatives when possible to maximize turnover and profitability, knowledge of tendering processes/procedures and skills for project management, good interpersonal skills in negotiation, influencing, analyse and interpret large amount of information with keen attention to detail, confident, pro-active attitude, with the ability to influence key stakeholders, be responsible for delivering the sales budget and manage the best turnover of stock material, Computer literate with practical experience of an ERP system and ability to learn new applications, etc. If you feel that you have the relevant experience in Structural Steel, please send in your C.V.
