The Role


Summary of Position:
This role is responsible for developing market opportunity and sales growth for Cooper products in Egypt. The incumbent will implement the agreed strategy for Egypt and will be responsible for achieving agreed objectives.

Principal Accountabilities:
Responsible for developing a meaningful presence in Egypt.

Specifically:
• Analyze and identify opportunities for specified Cooper products as directed.
• Establish good relationships with known distributors as nominated by the Managing Director, Cooper Middle East LLC.
• Work with sales/technical staff in all those Cooper units who have product opportunity in Egypt to ensure good quality service, including on time delivery from units and prompt payment to them as well as ongoing technical liaison.
• Participate in the organization of exhibitions, publicity material and technical presentations.
• Assist in the development of plans for continued sales growth for Cooper products in Egypt and effective introduction of new Cooper products where there is an opportunity.

Nature and Scope:
The person appointed will support Cooper’s sales groups in USA and Europe and will facilitate the achievement of agreed developmental targets within specified sectors and develop productive relationships with nominated key contacts.

Requirements


• An Electrical Engineering degree
• 5 years relevant selling experience of electrical and/or industrial products.
• Oil and gas / hazardous area experience
• Demonstrable Business development and commercial skills
• English language skills to business level.
• Potential for personal and professional growth as Cooper presence in the Region develops.
