My client are a waste management company who are looking for a Sales Manager within there Qatar operation.
Duties and responsibilities
•Develops in conjunction with the Managing Director the Strategic Sales Plan for the Qatar business unit.
•Advise the Managing Director on changing trends within the market so the Company can make and adjust plans accordingly.
•Provides leadership for the day-to-day business of sales, while maintaining a focus on the Company’s strategic goals.
•Analyse sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
•Establishes performance goals (KPI’s) for all sales department and monitor performance on a continual basis together with the MD Qatar.
•Direct all sales related activities to achieve the objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan.
•Coordinate sales operations with all other departments of the Company.
•Develops and/or maintain and improve business relations with all existing and potential customers of the Company.
•Seeks out and target new customers and generate new sales opportunities, initiate an action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
•Develop and maintain a strong work relationship with key stake-holders, opinion leaders and maintain regular contact with all other relevant agencies.
•Assume responsibility for developing revenue and use learning’s from that experience to refine the sales process and make improvements to the sales processes.
•Develop new products and services for existing and new clients.
•Identify, develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new and existing customers and business opportunities.
This position requires a university degree with a minimum of 7-years work experience in the field of sales.
•Excellent sales skills.
•Relevant sales experience gained in the waste or environmental services sector.
•Excellent stakeholder and client relationship skills.
•Good numerical and analytical skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Arabic an advantage.
•Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
•Good time management skills.
•IT – MS Office Suite to an advanced standard
