Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager that is willing to work for one of the leading Hotel Chains in the world. This position will be based in the beautiful city of Doha in the bustling State of Qatar.

This role will report directly to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for the local corporate market. The main responsibilities for this role are the following;

• Generates and maintains customers of defined accounts (face to face, telephone calls, etc.)
• Identify NEW potential accounts
• Solicits and serves transient and group business and meetings from commercial accounts and any other source.
• Execute sales objectives and action plans
• Applies the sales administration guidelines
• Entertains guests in the hotel/conducts site inspections
• Conducts regular follow up on account production
• Participates in promotional events within the Hotel, the industry and customer organizations, in order to promote and maximize the sales as directed.
• Willing to work in flexible hours as required
• Has full knowledge of the Hotel’s safety and emergency procedures

Requirements

Ideal candidates for this position should be willing to move to Qatar and must have more than 3 years experience in the hotel industry. Must know how to drive and must be able to read, speak, and write in ARABIC excellently.

Essential

• Must possess at least a High School Diploma or a Degree/ Certification in the same field (i.e. Catering or Hospitality)
• Must be willing to relocate to Qatar
• Candidates must possess at least 3 years experience as a Sales Manager in the Hospitality Industry
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and ARABIC FLUENTLY
• Must have a Driving License
