Sales Manager - Construction Equipment, Qatar
Our client, a leading earth equipment provider in Qatar, is seeking to recruit Sales Manager that lead the entire sales function in Qatari market.
Reporting to the company general manager, the incumbent will be fully responsible for ensuring the growth in-line with the company business plan as well as the entire performance of Sales activity in the market. Accordingly, the job holder shall:
- Participate in establishing sales plan in-line with overall business plan of the company. In addition, he should ensure the implementation of this plan with an objective of realization of the assigned sales-target.
- Direct & control sales-team activities & performance as well as ensure that realization of the team sales-target on team and individual (sales engineers) basis.
- Help his team in closing the entire sales cycle including payments & collections.
- Involved & participate in order negotiations, pricing & credit decision in order to ensure commercial viability
- Stay updated in regard to market activities & trends including market intelligence, pricing, market-shares, competitors etc.
- Keep close relationship with Principals / Manufacturers in order to ensure getting all required technical support needed to win deals / tenders.
- Work closely with Principals, Service & Parts Team to ensure maximum clients satisfaction.
- Ensure timely response to all clients requests & queries.
- Assist in all Warranty issues as well as negotiate with Principals with an objective of increasing clients satisfaction and staying ahead of competitors.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering gained from reputable university
- Should have at least 10 years work experience gained from being working in the industry of earth-moving equipment out of which 4 years should be in selling cranes
- Possess excellent product (cranes) knowledge including technical specifications & models
- Possess excellent business vision with ability to analyze market information promptly
- Possess in-depth knowledge related to technical issues in the field
- Possess in-depth market & industry knowledge
- Should be excellent communicator both verbal & written in both English & Arabic
- Computer literate
