Job description / Role
STR Global in partnership with a leading Ready Mix Concrete company based in Doha, Qatar is recruiting for a Sales Manager.
Working in a leading organisation with over 30 years experience and who sell on the quality of their product and service in Qatar, the Ready Mix division is part of a wider group of diverse businesses.
This is an autonomous role reporting in to the CEO and your responsibilities will include:
Full responsibility and autonomy for winning and maintaining new business with new and previously existing clients.
Preparation and presentation of all Tenders, with a team of administrative staff to support you.
Tender management, tender evaluation, contracts preparation and administration, request for proposals (RFPs) preparation and issuance.
Ensuring preparation of technical and financial proposals, prequalification documents and expression of interest (EOI) in accordance with different international format for different engineering disciplines.
As the Manager you will be heading the Sales Department
Responsibility for exceeding all customer demands by way of quality and customer service
As the business is going through a rapid period of change, you will have the opportunity to develop the marketing, company structure, policies and sales/ customer service training programmes to develop the team
As with any challenging sales role you will be responsible for market intelligence by way monitoring competition and the local Qatar market
You will be responsible in devising market strategies, market segmentation, pricing vs. product positioning; environment analysis, market analysis, positioning of products/services vis-à-vis strategic implications in the market.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
We are seeking a Western Expat for this role
Minimum 10 years relevant experience within the Ready Mix Concrete Industry.
Ideally Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Marketing discipline.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a sales role within the Ready Mix Concrete Industry, of which 3 must have been at Sales Manager level
High Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages would be advantageous.
Salary Package:
Base Salary of QAR 25,000/ month
QAR 10,000/ monthly housing allowance
Company car
X2 flights home per annum
