Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Manages the process of sales lead prospecting and qualifications as a first point of contact for customers.
2. Meets budgeted sales and profit margins by soliciting and confirming business as required.
3. Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segment.
4. Ensures own function operates within cost restrains.
5. Acts as the catalyst for revenue generation and long term growth through outstanding relationships with clients.
6. Develops data and recommends programmes to meet clients’ needs.
7. Utilizes the “winning edge” sales techniques.
8. Communicates clients’ queries/requests to the concerned in an effective and timely manner.
9. Follows up with potential clients on requests for proposals.
10. Supports sales and marketing programmes.
11. Submits three proposals to improve work procedures every year.
12. Prepares two specialized articles to be published in periodicals every year.
13. Administers MIS system from a sale perspective to ensure client database.
14. Other duties as assigned by the Country Manager.

Inside and outside relationships:

Inside: Country Manager/Marketing Manager/Bidding Center.
Outside: Existing and potential clients.

Requirements

Credentials and Experience:

A. Education:
• B.Sc. in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Sales training courses.

B. Experience:
• Five years’ experience in a dynamic environment out of which three as a senior sales engineer in an industrial environment with in energy and facilities management.

C. Job related knowledge and other abilities:
• Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages.
• An entrepreneur and pragmatic to manage expectations.
• Professional manner and polished appearance.
• Very good computer skills.
• Strong sales, communication and presentation skills.

Working conditions:
• Office work and clients visits.
• Travel is expected from time to time.
