Sales Manager

Job description / Role

- Develop & Maintain clientele, identify projects, secure inquiries, produce & present proposals compliant with specs.
- Maintain sales volume and selling price by monitoring costs, competition, and supply vs. demand.
- Utilize all traits of the company whether technical, commercial, logistical or service to produce alternative solutions creating unique selling points.
- Negotiate prices, contract terms and conditions, commercial aspects.
- Make sure financial and operational responsibilities are fulfilled (in collaboration with the Finance and Operations Departments)
- Understand and resolve customer requirements / complaints in every stage within agreed time and constraints.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit.
- Assist in collecting outstanding payments.

Requirements

- Effective interpersonal, negotiation, persuasion, facilitation and communication (both written and verbal) skills in English.
- Good commercial acumen, high level of numeracy and literacy and ability to optimize commercial options to the best advantage.
- Driving License.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Business.
- Three years of experience in B2B sales in construction related industry (preferred).
- Two years of experience in UAE (preferred).
- European nationality (preferred).
- Knowledge of construction materials (rocks, sand, cement, concrete) (preferred).
