Sales Manager

Job description / Role

This is position will be based in a powder coating joint venture facility in Jeddah. The joint venture is an established business that is over 10 years old, 35+ employees, a strong market share in Saudi and GCC.

The prime responsible for this role is to meet the annual sales objectives & administratively lead the company by:
- Lead the administration of the joint venture , be the official authorized signatory for the joint venture and organize board meetings
- Work closely with the manufacturing leader to ensure that joint venture meets its annual financial goals
- Manage sales team of 3 sales representatives and 2 customer service representatives to meet annual sales goals
- Directly handle the 5 key accounts
- Prepare business cases & market evaluations, elaborate business plans, design and implement processes to support business growth, through customer and market need definition
- Build relationship with external influencers
- Be responsible for payment terms and driving reduction in overdues

Requirements

- University degree (Graduated from a technical discipline is preferred)
- Technical background in powder coatings and associated markets would be an asset
- Minimum ten years of sales, market development or business development experience
- Applicants should also have several years of senior level experience preferably at a General Management level
- Powder coating or relevant industry experience will be a strong advantage
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic will be a plus
- Advanced level of written and spoken English is essential
