Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Achieving sales budget put forward by the management with an emphasis on Sales Revenue and Sales Volume
- To quote competitive prices and recommend appropriate painting systems to the customers to ensure sustainable business
- Introduce and promote our products to the consultants, individual clients, retail dealers and other decision makers in the region
- Assist in decision making on matters related to business development plans, sales budget, product mix and to ensure that it matches with the overall business plan
- Formulate and implement sales strategy to increase the turnover and profitability of the company in the Kuwait market
- Collaborate with the management team in developing and implementing the pricing strategy, taking into account the prevalent market conditions, budgeted sales and profits for the company and profitability of the distribution/retail network
- Support the management team in forecasting the market trend in the designated region
- Create awareness on our products by providing technical and practical training to subordinate staff/dealer staff, sub-contractors and applicators
- Interact regularly with GM/Export Manager and other departments to discuss key sales issues and resolve them from time to time
- Optimally utilize the available sales resources in order to improve brand visibility
- Ensure compliance with the statutory requirements for import and seek approval from the environment, customs and other agencies
- Ensure sales volume by concentrating on promotion of fast moving and high value products
- Identify and exploit new business opportunities to expand and tap the full potential of Kuwait market
- Initiate setting up of retail network in these territories in conjunction with the distribution partners
- Analyze sales performance and take effective decisions to maximize sales volume and gross margins from Kuwait region
- Monitor the sales performance in these territories on an on going basis in order to ensure that the sales targets are being met and that budgeted profitability is secured
- Establish effective local marketing techniques and PR activities to optimize the demand
- Identify and secure profitable partners/customers for each brand in order to maximize growth
- Work in collaboration with the Credit Controller in ensuring collection of receivables within the agreed/approved payment terms through regular follow ups, so that the risk of default is minimized and set targets are achieved
- Represent the company as the primary point of contact to the customers and to take initiative in optimizing customer satisfaction
- Establish strong relationships with distribution partners to maximize the breadth of distribution in each designated territory
- Discuss with customers, their needs for color matches, new products, pricing etc.
- Resolve issues with customers amicably and in a proactive manner while keeping the customers’ satisfied at the same time
- Develop and retain customer loyalty and brand image by focusing on customer satisfaction
- Ensure that the company's brand name and professional image is retained in the customers’ mind by maintaining good customer relationships at all levels, by providing product information and appropriate technical service to them
- Collaborate with other internal departments by initiating and involving in developing new products and services, so as to enhance the level of competitiveness and to improve the market position
- Regularly visit and correspond with key distributors /customers to understand their requirements and to gain market awareness

Requirements

An ideal candidate will have 7- 9 years experience in export sales preferably in the paint and coating industry. Excellent communication skills and good computer skills are required. Ability to communicate in Arabic will be an added advantage.
