Sales Manager

Job description / Role

- To Manage and lead the sales team to achieve the annual sales targets of the company as per the approved budget for each year.
- To set the annual company-wide sales targets and assign individual targets to the members of the sales team
- To build a strong network of alliances with key customers, engineering consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities
- To deliver excellent customer service through regular follow up with customers and ensuring their requirements are met on time.
- To establish market intelligence to ensure companys products and services are in-line with the market demands
- To establish market-based pricing for the products to ensure optimization of margins as per the market trends.
- To ensure qualification of the companys products with engineering consultants, governmental bodies and others as per each projects requirements.
- To make optimal use of the company MIS system and review sales reports on a regular interval
- To review customer complaints and resolve them on a priority basis
- To safeguard against any losses resulting from credit sales and assist in timely collection of receivables.
- To work as a team with other departments in the company to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years Sales experience of which at least 5 years in selling concrete products (preferably building and pavement blocks) in the UAE
- Bachelors degree with major in Engineering / Business Management
- Holder of UAE driving license with minimum driving experience of 5 years in the UAE
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills (Arabic speakers preferred)
- Excellent PC skills with preference to those with knowledge of ERP / CRM systems.
- Must have prior experience of managing people in a multi-cultural environment
- Must be willing to work hard and lead by example.
