Sales Manager - Oil & Gas / Cyber defense systems

Role Profile:
An international global defence and cyber security company is currently looking to recruit a business development professional to join their team.

This role is based in Dubai and requires the individual to contribute to the continued expansion of our Cyber Security business in the Middle-East, by leading sales into the Oil & Gas sector.

Your role involves all aspects of sales and account management from prospecting, lead development to closing new and follow-on business. You are supported by Pre-Sales and Technical Resources in order to meet customer needs and achieve revenue objectives.

We're looking for someone with knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector, ideally in the area of SCADA solutions or Cyber Security.

The responsibilities of the role include the following:
- Develop and execute business development plans and campaign plans.
- Managing the negotiations of commercial contracts and able to seek support when needed.
- Achieve order intake targets consistent with business plans across the full business development lifecycle from proposition development, market evaluation, and competitive positioning.
- Support all aspects involved in executing the sales plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships within the company and with others in the industry to support current and future business development objectives.
- Contribute to proposition development for the Oil & Gas sector, and tailor market offerings to Middle East customer needs.
- Support internal reporting.
- Engage in activities that support the development of markets of operation.
- Enable a significant contribution to account and proposition development.
- Be aware of business challenges in relevant sectors and an interpret market trends.
- Lead teams who will report into the Account Manager for the duration of the client project.
- Delegate aspects of day-to-day delivery to support the development of others.
- Undertake account planning, organisation analysis, stakeholder mapping, delivery assurance.
- Develop sales plans for each opportunity.
- Develop closure plans through to contract signature and beyond.
- Report monthly on Account/Sector strategy, performance, pipeline management and order book.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and grow Accounts.
- Complete customer satisfaction reviews.

Requirements

- Full knowledge of the business wining cycle
- Past experience of developing the knowledge and skill levels of Account Managing teams.
- A good understanding of the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in the area of Cyber Security.
