Job description / Role

The successful candidate will propose to the management and implement the bitumen marketing strategy for the Middle East region.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To develop the Road Contractor market in the UAE, Oman,Qatar & IRAN.
- Manage and develop sales to achieve the budget.
- Develop a portfolio of customers in a sustainable way with regular visits to major customers to negotiate commercial terms and to monitor performance.
- Promote and expand sales of specialist products.
- Develop export sales to group affiliated departments.

Requirements

- Working for a leading road contractor as a purchase manager or currently doing a similar role as a bitumen marketing manager.
- Good knowledge of petroleum products basics process and properties, road construction and or laboratory experience would be a bonus.
- Ability to deal with technical issues concerning both products and applications, especially in polymer modified bitumen and emulsion bitumen, logistics and safety for petroleum products.
- Strong commercial experience negotiating with high level industry contacts
