Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Strong understanding of Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical and Control systems.
- Previous experience in sales of Industrial Automation controls .
- Should have a good understanding of generating system architecture & control solutions from client specification.
- Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, e.g. customers, suppliers, colleagues
- Understanding of the Project sales environment, and elements leading to closure of order with the technical ability to discuss projects and systems with all contacts in the sales cycle
- Identifying suitable project / enquiry opportunities for the clients, to understand key aspects of technical specifications for initial review, internal discussion, and provide assistance to Proposals group in preparation of quotations
- Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness
- Monitoring competitor activity
- Analyzing pricing positions
- Creating marketing plans and strategies
- Map out potential customers & competitors
- Determine unmet needs and market structure (channels)
- Manages the strategic aspects of large engagements and mitigates any risk
- Takes a lead role in monitoring the identification and development of strategic accounts.
- Lends expertise to internal teams and task forces
- Compliance with the values of the organization and to all applicable policies and procedures
- Responsible for managing the sales, developing a business plan for achieving targets, meeting agreed targets and promoting the organizations presence throughout country
- Candidates with Middle East experience & experience in selling in the sectors like Oil & Gas, water, waste water, district cooling, metals would be an added advantage

Requirements

- Bachelors of Engineering, Major in Electrical or Electronics
- At least 5 to 6 years total experience or more
- At least 3 years sales experience
- Experience in Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical and Control systems
- Experience selling in different sectors such as Oil and Gas, water, waste water, district cooling, metals and manufacturing companies.
