Sales & Marketing Director- GCC Region - HORECA
Our client is a well reputed FMCG food production, packaging and distribution organisation with a growing presence in the GCC region and due to expansion, we are recruiting a Sales & Marketing Director for the Gulf region. Working closely with the business stakeholders, the successful candidate will develop sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and revenue growth for luxury products in the hospitality industry. Candidates should have experience of the HORECA industry in the Gulf region.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a stable career in sales and marketing at a senior management level candidates with numerous and short term roles will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Sales & Marketing function by developing business strategies and plans to maximise business opportunities for new and existing clients
- Develop and management of the marketing, PR and CRM strategies and driving market presence through trade and industry events
- Management of the sales team developing effective remuneration and compensation packages
- Working with the Finance and Operations teams to ensure cost effective commercial models to exceed sales targets and ensure the smooth delivery of products to all clients
Requirements
Education
- MBA is essential
- Bachelors Degree
Essential Skills & Experience Required
- 6 8 years experience in senior management roles in Sales & Marketing in the hospitality or FMCG food production industries in the Gulf region
- Working knowledge of the supply chain processes in the HORECA industry
- Effective team leadership
- Strong financial acumen with proven experience of business and sales planning
- Experience of managing a Sales & Marketing function in an FMCG or HORECA related organisation
Candidate Profile
- Aged between 35 45 years
- Fluency in English is essential
