My client is a stylish, elegant, luxury restaurant chain. Having a presence globally the restaurants prides themselves on tastes from around the world. The menu features signature dishes from Harrys Bar in Venice and classic Italian favorites. Whether you are a regular of other locations around the world or a first time customer you will be welcome with warmth and care.
Due to re-structuring my client is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager for their Abu Dhabi location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Manage a team including the Catering Sales Manager, Promotions Team.
Set and develop targets for the Catering Sales Manager.
Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparation of annual budget proposal through presentation; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Manage outsourced suppliers like creative agency or PR agency.
Responsible for marketing, promoting, packaging and cross-selling all products
Improves product marketability and profitability by identifying market opportunities and product development. Generate ideas for new offerings, products.
Develop and oversee the implementation of an annual PR and Communications Plan
Develop and oversee the implementation of an annual Social Media Plan
Develop and oversee the implementation of an annual Media Buying Plan
Regularly define and identify most effective communication channels to promote existing products and services
Manage budget of sales & marketing department.
Achieve sales operations objective through feasible action plans and implementation of standards
Develop marketing and promotional campaigns for SARL Abu Dhabi products and services
Manage production of marketing materials, including Digital Content and updates (e.g. may include proofreading copy for printed media; arranging photo shoots; etc.)
Responsible for Media Buying, timing and structure of advertising campaigns / promotions as per the agreed Media Buying Plans and Budgets
Evaluate and prepare reports showing the results of marketing campaigns (return on investment, effectiveness, feedback, etc.)
Coordinate and participate in promotional activities in order to market products and services
Arrange for effective distribution of marketing materials
Coordinate the writing and distribution of press releases with PR agency
Implement effective customer/client care standards and create operative methods to resolve issues concerning customer complaints.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, Employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Upon employment, the employee is required to fully comply with the companys rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facilities. If the employee will violate organization rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Coordinate closely with other departments (in particular Operations)
Reports to GM
Support colleagues and oversee if company standards is being implemented
Develop and maintain media contact network
Support GM with regards to all marketing and promotional needs
Liaise with creative director, productions manager, graphic designer, club promotions manager and banqueting manager

Requirements

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Must have good, up to date knowledge and experience of local markets understanding of local market dynamics, customer base, culture, and local competition (Abu Dhabi, Dubai and GCC in particular)
Experience in F&B / Hospitality industry (in UAE)
Spoken Arabic is a plus
At least 5 years of experience in the marketing industry
Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives
