Job description / Role
Plan, oversee, manage and control QCC’s marketing activities including sales and distribution operations, customer relations interface and marketing development initiatives ensuring that staff are focused on profitability, growth targets and building the brand equity and in support of the strategic direction.
The marketing manager needs to keep close working relationships with production and finance as well as Quality Control and will liaise closely with the heads of those departments. Maintains contact with key accounts.
The incumbent is responsible for the sales & marketing department and its performance. Financial responsibilities are set at the level delegated by the CEO but is expected to manage the sales & marketing department’s budget. The role holder advices on state of the market and competitive situation and will recommend projections for sales revenues.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
University degree in marketing, business studies or a relevant discipline
10-12 years extensive experience in cement marketing operations including 5 years in a leadership role
Financial Management Skills
Knowledge and expertise in the cement industry and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabian market
Influencing and negotiation skills
Effective oral and written communication skills and fluency in English
Ability to successfully manage meetings
Developed giving and receiving feedback skills
Developed planning Skills
