Job description / Role
Our client is looking for a Sales Operations Engineer, to be based in Dubai, who will be accountable for providing technical leadership skills in Radio Communications; HF and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) product lines and technical supervision of complex sales opportunities, high level interoperability demonstrations, and network level ROMs.
Acorn is working in partnership with a leading international radio communications business that is continuing to expand into Dubai / UAE following a record year. The company designs and manufacturers a range of high value products for a diverse range of business sectors which includes, government, military, private sector companies, humanitarian and consumer markets.
Job Role
Delivering a strong technical sales approach to meet customer expectations and market demands.
Identify opportunities for Radio Communications products in the commercial, public safety, security and military markets.
Assist in systems testing & development.
Coordinate regional technical activities such as product demonstrations and field trials with customers and relevant inter company departments.
Liaising with organisations existing suppliers, dealers and distributors.
Provide technical customer service for the region / Manage customer inquiries and technical requests, liaising with the Regional Sales Manager and Product Managers.
Develop high level training materials, as required, to conduct training to the end users.

Requirements
Diploma or degree in Electronics / Communications or equivalent.
Extensive experience of tactical HF network design, configuration, installation, training and maintenance.
Technical knowledge and experience in Land Mobile Radio electronic communications products.
Experience with radio repeaters and base communications systems architecture and integration.
Proven track record of deploying HF base and mobile systems in field conditions.
Familiarity of LMR/PMR operations and infrastructure.
Coordinating complex HF or LMR/PMR communications projects within a global organisation.
Strong customer orientation and outcome-focused.
