Sales Operations are a combination of company procedures, business activities and strategic sales implementations within a company consistent with company goals and objectives. As a whole, sales operations help companies reach business targets and financial goals. The Sales Operations Manager manages support functions essential to sales force productivity.

The Sales Operations Manager works closely with the VP of Sales as a Business Partner to develop sales compensation plans, quotas, objectives and reporting. The Sales Operation Manager also works cross functionally with other departmental managers to collaborate on sales operation plans and company objectives.

Direct responsibility will include a business consulting role, working closely with diverse user groups including Senior Management, Sales & Business Unit management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Legal to deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information.

This position will be based in Dubai but will require ability and willingness to travel to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel, South Africa, Egypt and Europe occasionally

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

•Responsibilities include tracking sales results versus individual objectives, maintaining and reporting sales compensation plans, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting, and contract processing.

•Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts. As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the firm.

•Assists in the development and support of equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources.

•Ensures all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion.

•Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management to identify and understand process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.

•Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other business intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

•Implements enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams and drives user adoption, value, and ROI as well as the day-to-day user support and system maintenance.

•Monitors the sales organization’s compliance with sales management objectives to optimize the effectiveness of the firm’s technology investments.

•Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the sales organization supported.

•Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs.

•Manages office admin team, PRO issues / process and some office management tasks.

•Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.

•Minimum requirements include a BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or related area, with 5 years’ experience in a similar position with related responsibilities.

•Demonstrated ability to operate within a team to produce results.

•Demonstrated ability to work independently and to train, guide or assist others to perform complex assignments. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handling multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

•Strong capability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies.

•Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, decision making, organizational, time management, collaboration and communication skills.

•Ability to produce high quality work with key attention to detail.

•Strong commitment to customer service. Experience working with Finance systems a plus. 3-5 years experience managing a CRM system (Siebel and Salesforce.com knowledge are required, additional experiences with other CRM systems a plus).

•Highly developed Emotional Intelligence is a requirement in order to be able to carry out this highly responsible role while having no direct reports and needing to work with other responsible and authoritative staff in the company
