Sales Representative - Business Development

Job description / Role
Identify and develop new business opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop relationship with current suppliers of McDonalds for new business opportunities
- Develop relationship with Mohebi Holdings (e.g. Baqr Mohebi) to maintain and establish new business opportunities
- Identify, develop and maintain sales opportunities within the local market based on Ocean Freight (Full Container Load, Less Container Load) import and export, air freight, overland and customer clearances
- Achieve agreed monthly and yearly sales targets
- Conduct meaningful visits to customers 8 12 per week
- Ensure proper usage of customer relationship management tools
- Prepare quotations to customers out of the management tools
Requirements
- Bachelor degree of business, economics or freight forwarding (supply chain)
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience within the freight forwarding industry
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years Dubai sales experience in the freight forwarding industry
- SOP experience
- Excellent understanding of air freight, ocean freight and overland within the GCC
- Exceptional selling and negotiations skills applicants must be able to demonstrate a solid track record of revenues generated from field sales
- Good Command of English (spoken and written), Arabic is an advantage
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills
- Excellent MS office skills (especially PowerPoint)
- Customer service orientated
- Able to work under pressure to achieve set targets
- Comfortable with change management
- Detail orientated and results focused
- Must hold UAE Drivers License - driving for long hours is to be expected
