Sales Representative

Job description / Role

Following the recent expansion of our activities in the UAE, we are currently recruiting a Sales Representative to join our Dubai based Team.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Direct and manage all consumer and replacement sales activities to achieve targets by formulating strategies with the Consumer Sales Manager and formulating agreed action plans with the distributor.
- Ensure regions pricing policies are applied consistently with referral to Consumer Managers.
- Understand the market demographics by channel. Acquire, build and update data cards for each point of sales in the assigned market.
- Assist the distributor to evaluate channels, ensuring that he focuses on the right ones. Where relevant, support Retail Teams strategy to execute the field implementation in line with the action plans.
- In conjunction with Consumer Managers identify training needs for the distributors sales team.
- Monitor and report market trends and competitor activities. (e.g. monthly price surveys / SOM stats / Trends etc) Immediate feedback on competitor price change in the market.
- Support the development and implementation of actions and periodic programs led by Dubai or suggested by distributors.
- Ensure appropriate Brand and Price Positioning as indicated
by the Consumer Managers.
- Provide customer satisfaction by receiving and analyzing distributor needs and by developing and implementing systems for effective response to distributors.
- Process all warranty claims in a timely manner for each market of responsibility. Teach and coach each channel Partner to address day to day technical issues but be ready to provide technical assistance and know-how for special cases.
- Be actively involved in assisting other departments (finance / logistics) in execution of objectives and resolution of problems.

Requirements

- Should have experience in channel management, with achievement credentials related to increased distribution through targeted channels, with focus on GP at channel level.
- At least three years of experience in sales.
- You must have a prior experience in the Tyre industry to apply for this role.
- Fluent in English/ Arabic, oral and written
