Sales Support Quality Assurance Executive

Job description / Role

- Monitor deviations in set temperatures and other standard operational conditions for the assigned section and report on a day to day basis.
- Monitor sanitizer concentration and consumption in the processing area and report any deviations from the set standards.
- Inspect quality of processed chicken at relevant stages of the process and report any deviations like changes in color, appearance and size of the bird.
- Inspect the quality standards of finished goods before releasing for sales.
- Report deviations form the quality norms at each stage and report to the Senior Executive Quality Control.
- Assist Senior Executive Quality Assurance in appropriate sample testing on packaging material after issuance to production team and report any deviations from standards.
- Ensure compliance to ISO and HACCP standards pertaining to food safety and quality and perform all the required steps governed by it.
- Document all inspections, results and suggested actions accurately and prepare relevant reports for reviews with Senior Executive Quality Control.
- Couch and train executives of the processing plant. Veterinarians and other chicken production personnel. Hygiene staff and laboratory microbiologist on all quality assurance standards, auditing, monitoring and processes.

Requirements

- Diploma in relevant stream Microbiology/ Poultry Veterinary/ food technology/ animal science with maximum of 1 year of experience in Quality department in any food processing industry (OR).
- High school Education with an experience of 3 years in quality control in food processing industry.
- Knowledge of statistical quality control tools / quality assurance methods is desirable.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Word and MS- Outlook).
- Working knowledge of BaaN.
- Working knowledge of English and Arabic.
