Sales Support Specialist

Reporting to the management team, this role requires a true team player who will enjoy working in a vibrant, sales orientated environment. The company is a British managed organisation and specializes in IT security. The primary purpose of the position is to support the sales team by managing the offer processing function for assigned vendors. Job responsibilities include placing orders on the system from forecasted figures, preparing requests for information, proposals and quotations and managing order shipments and orders.
Based on best practice, part of the remit will be to devise process flows and sales order processes to show step by step requirements for placing orders for different vendors and passing this information on to new staff members.
There will also be various ad hoc responsibilities allocated by the management team.

Requirements

This is a friendly, team oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be able to use Excel at an intermediate level and a minimum of 1-2 years office experience in a role similar to call centre, customer service, secretarial etc.
The role will be 8.30 till 5 but on occasions such as month end they may be the required to work extra hours to process the orders. However, if someone works late there will be flexibility at the beginning of the month with the working hours. Our client is looking for English as a mother tongue.
