The RoleThe RoleAl-Futtaim occupies the pre-eminent position of the largest distributor of automotive products in the Emirates, and leads the rapid development of automobile business in the UAE, while continuing to contribute to our leading brands' worldwide growth. We represent Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Volvo and Jeep. To provide full after sales and service support to these world-class franchises, we have an established and growing network of service and parts centres throughout the UAE. Increasingly we are finding that our Technicians in these facilities are the face of our business and we want to reinforce that relationship and high level of service delivery. Accordingly, we plan to establish a brand new, state of the art training facility to bring on our own Technicians to do things our own very successful way.We are looking to identify a Sales and After Sales Development Manager to lead the development and effective implementation of training requirements for all brands for Sales and After Sales ensuring the cultural needs of Delegates are accommodated You will ensure all training delivered is business aligned and reflects Brand values and Customer Service Values. Provide measurable impact of training on Key Business Indicators. Lead a team of competent and knowledgeable Trainers who are fully immersed in the business The primary responsibilities of this function will incorporate the following; *Lead and set the direction for Sales and After Sales training for all brands, engaging fully with Stakeholders and translating business requirements into validated training needs *Ensure the design and delivery of all training solutions are managed to reflect the Academy as aspiring to be a Centre of excellence where the cultural needs of delegates are accommodated in a professional and caring manner *Monitor and control all budgetary expenditure ensuring it is on track and escalate any variances *Adopt a highly commercial approach to the introduction of training solutions to meet both immediate business issues, short term actual needs and medium term strategic priorities, to include, Core Curriculum, Bespoke, Refresher and Product Launches *Work with Managers and HR to identify learning and training needs within AFM to support individual development , talent management and succession planning *Provide Delegate feedback and performance information to the Management team and proactively follow up on any issues raised *Ensure brand values , DNA, Customer Service values and the Toyota Way are fully reflected and interwoven in the design and delivery of all training *Ensure systems and processes are in place for all brands to accommodate a Certification and by product certification approach and that results and trends are monitored and necessary action taken |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be successful in this opportunity the selected candidate will need to have the following skills, attributes and qualifications; *Relevant certificates or Bachelors degree in Business or Training and Development *Have Automotive retail Management, training delivery experience, project management. *Automotive Retail Sales and After Sales exposure *Training Programme facilitation, Design and Blended learning *A high level of Computer literacy *Financial reporting experience |
