Sales and Marketing Director Property
Our client is a subsidiary of a well-established diversified business holding group who now seek to recruit a Sales and Marketing Director for a key master planned development in Doha, Qatar that is valued in excess of USD2B. This pivotal role will be well networked in the Qatar sector and be able to develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the firm's Qatar developments.
Reporting to the CEO the proven performer we seek will be responsible to:
Define and manage the sales strategy and execution of same.
Management of the overall sales strategy, sales planning and sales force deployment plan.
Provision of input and market insights in to the strategic, business and budget planning processes.
Management of sales targets and target setting for the sales organisation, account team and at sales force level.
Performance manages the sales force and set up appraisal process to ensure effectiveness and capability is being realised and reflected in results.
Ensure compliance with commercial and administrative policies i.e. commissions.
Act as an escalation point for major client negotiations or barter deals.
Managing non-technical customer service activities.
Manage customer care and ensure single point of contact.
Develop the professional training of the sales force to ensure competency in both soft skills and in product knowledge.
Develop periodic reporting on the overall sales performance of the firm.
Develop marketing strategies, policies and guidelines.
Building and raising brand identity and awareness.
Guide, monitor and report on marketing activities.
Develop and manage a unified project management and communication plan.
Source, negotiate and recommend selection of consultants and agencies related to marketing, public relations, media and communications activities including fee negotiation, determination of contractual structure, definition of scope of works and performance evaluation.
Lead Executive for events, exhibitions, public relations, media and communications.
Provide guidance on sales pricing strategies.
Analyse customer buying preferences through market analysis, sales information and specialised surveys.
Develop and manage web site, customer database and customer service satisfaction surveys.
The attributes we seek for this successful candidate include:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Marketing or comparable.
10+ years experience in project management with at least 3-4 years experience working across the GCC region with the banking or property sector would be highly regarded.
Strong and communication skills are essential as candidates must present at Board Level.
Candidates who are familiar with the GCC region and have strong contacts will be highly regarded.
