Sales and Marketing Executive

Job description / Role

The Sales and Marketing Executive will report to the S&M Manager and be solely responsible for supporting him/her with all marketing and business development opportunities. The main responsibilities of this role are:

• Assist in developing & delivering the company marketing strategies to ensure sales, marketing objectives and goals
• Prepare detailed company marketing plans in line with the overall business strategy
• Develop & deliver a detailed customer creation campaign strategy to increase footfall and revenue
• Develop & deliver a sound strategy and proposal for the S&M Manager to obtain sponsorships for events
• Create necessary partnerships and relationships, financial and other, which have a direct impact on the revenues and data spread of the business and in-line with project strategies.
• Manage, execute and control all PR activities to ensure all deliverables are achieved, including international and charitable news.
• Design and implement multiple innovative plans, and execute within deadlines to maximize revenues, including all seasonal sales and provide reports tracking and monitoring progress and campaign results.
• Create, through the use of a CRM and market ready techniques, an effective data capture SOP for all facets of the business in order to achieve budgetary requirements.
• Put forward marketing ideas and recommendations which improve on existing communication materials.
• Communicate directly and negotiate with creative agencies, media suppliers and accounts departments to ensure that all brand standards are met and adhered to, making informed decisions and recommendations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will currently be an experience S&M senior executive with at least 5-7 years experience in a similar role in the hospitality or leisure field. He/She will be able to start immediately, and should hit the ground running. The incumbent should have strong communication skills and take the initiative to always be a step ahead. Planning and analytics are a large part of this role as well as the ability to present in a public forum.

Requirements of the role:

• Degree in Marketing
• Strong organisational skills and use of MS office
• Ability to use spreadsheets to analyse data and spot trends.
• Understanding of customer segmentation.
• A sales background
