JOB PURPOSE:

To provide Sales, Soft Skills, Parts and Staff Development as required by the divisions (including customer training), using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, train the trainer, meetings, conferences, and workshops.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Hands on delivery of FAMCO Sales Training programme and assessment of Sales competencies.
* Develop and produce materials for use by learners and trainers including Trainers Guide containing all schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Support the Co-ordination and monitoring of all distributors training. To attend Brand/Product specific training events and cascade information obtained.
* Identify and respond to opportunities for new programme offerings and expansion of existing programmes and services to meet business goals
* Develop and implement competence testing programmes to establish skill levels of existing staff and identify training needs
* Contribute to the analysing of standard competence reports, operational non compliance and execution of structured action plans.
* Ensure active promotion of staff and customer engagement activities.
* Conduct on-going site visits in relation to training needs analysis.
* Complete on-going Self-assessment of training programme content and delivery, to promote continuous improvement.
* Establish competence requirements for recruitment. Full competence assessments to be carried out on all new starters prior to end of probationary period to assist Line Managers.

JOB CONTEXT:

Develop and deliver training content and materials in Sales techniques (B2B) and related Soft Skills.
Assist in training needs analysis of relevant division/brand and advise according to market trends and distributor guidelines.
Assist with the orientation, training and coaching of staff, management and other stakeholders to increase efficiency within the workplace
Participate and execute adherence to Company and Principal policy and procedure compliance.
Monitor, review and implement occupational health and safety, operational standards, warranty processes, technical support training activities.
Ensure all technical processes are implemented and adhered to from a Divisional point of view.
Conduct on-going site visits to identify individual training requirements and complete post course evaluations.
Ensure compliance with Principals' policies, related to training.
Support new model launch activities, campaigns and customer initiatives by way of material development with the support of technical training team and subsequent delivery.
Assist Divisions to prepare and conduct Customer Seminars to promote technical awareness on features and benefits of new and existing products

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Management or Engineering
Knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, best practice learning tools and evaluation methodologies

Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 5 years related B2B sales training experience and 7+ years of sales management experience preferably in the Automotive Industry
Advanced experience delivering sales development solutions using a variety of delivery modalities including video, online learning, social media, on-the-job and manager-led learning
Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills in programme design & development, and training technologies

Job-Specific Skills:

Strong organizational planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required
Understanding of learning theories and adult learning
Ability to assess skill competencies, provide feedback and assist with professional development plans
Fluent in both spoken and written English
