Employment: Full Time

This position will support capital projects at the SPCo facility in Jubail Saudi Arabia. The Infrastructure Project Team at SPCo manages projects up to $50MM using Chevron Project Development and Execution Process (CPDEP). The majority of these projects are in the $1MM to $15MM range. The yearly capital budget is approximately $50 to $80MM over the next 5 years.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Reviewing project specific schedules to ensure the logic and input data is correct.
- Work with Project Manager/Construction Manager to aid in the accuracy and quality of the each project schedule
- Work with Team Manager to develop a portfolio master schedule.
- Regularly updates schedules and ensures that schedule conflicts are resolved
- Performs CPM (Critical Path Method) schedule analysis
- Assists in schedule review meetings to discuss project status and develop alternatives to accommodate changes in priorities
- Recommends adjustments to manpower requirements and rearranges work plans to optimize utilization of resources
- Periodically accompany Auditor during field progress audits

Requirements

- A minimum of 10 years experience scheduling in the Chemical or Refining Industry
- Technical degree or 15+ years scheduling experience
- Major Capital Project/Lump sum Project experience a plus
- 3 to 5 years of craft (piping, civil/structural, I&E) experience a plus
- Having experience from the facility owners perspective is a plus.
- Having experience working as a scheduler in an operating facility is a plus.
- Must be detailed oriented
- Proficiency in Primavera Scheduling software.
- Ability to plan for multi-craft and contractors
- Knowledge of the phased project execution process to fund capital projects.
- Strong communication skills are a requirement.
- Analytical capabilities are a requirement.
