Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key Tasks and Duties:
- Coordinate with Area engineers to ensure project milestones are met and updated
- Review of detailed project scheduling reports on Primavera P6 including :
i. Project schedule
ii. Pert
iii. Critical path
iv. Resource allocation
v. Leveling
vi. Cost control
vii. Cash flow
viii. Cost to complete
ix. Budget vs. actual cost
- Coordinate with Area Engineer on physical site progress update for accurate project scheduling Preparation of cash flow statements.
- Review and approved submitted progress schedule from contractor.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering from recognized University.
- Education qualification shall be obtained from North America, West Europe, Australia or equivalent University.
- Certification in Project Management
- Minimum 8 years previous experience in planning/ project controlling field using Primavera P6.
- Broad experience in construction sector with demonstrated experience in Operations and Maintenance plans and schedules drainage projects e.g. maintenance schedules for waste water treatment plans.
- Experience in projects involving Government Departments and Outsourced Consultants.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to understand information from a number of different perspectives to ensure both the operational and customer perspectives are taken into consideration when assessing H&S Risks and recommending / implementing solutions.
- Ability to escalate issues with evidence to management to resolve in acceptable timescales.
- Relationship skills to build common under-standing and ensure delivery of robust
and appropriate solutions.
- Time Management
- Analytical thinking and troubleshooting
- Familiar with Planning/Project control software Primivera P6.
- Familiar with corporate management plans.
- Project Management Method/Practice or equivalent Confidence to direct employees and contractors clearly and authoritatively whilst maintaining Ashghal values and relationships
- Flexible communicator to be able to deal with customers and stakeholders as well as contractors and operators.
- A team player - someone who is willing to go the extra mile and who is willing to embrace the concept of collective responsibility.
