Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

An international project management company is looking for an ambitious scheduler to work on prestigious stadium projects across Saudi Arabia. The program is to plan and develop 9 stadiums simultaneously in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within a short period of time.

Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the direction of the planning team who will be responsible for the planning and monitoring of the project program and the cost controls.
- Organizing and directing the document management system with the document management team.
- Work directly with the client management team to work as an interface between the client and the consultancy.
- Be the direct point of contact for the project program and the cost reporting.
- Build a strong relationship between the client and the project management company.
- Instate an effective project management time line and controls system that is in line with the clients reporting structure.
- Monitor, refine and improve the reporting and controls tools as required.
- Assist the Project Controls in establishing accurate and complete project progress, cost reporting and project controls deliverables.
- Identify and source software and systems required for the technical delivery of the project.
- Evaluate, select, the change program management and control techniques, procedures, and criteria to suit job tasks, and devises and implements solutions to problems encountered.
- Ensure that the project controls team members are working effectively, managing and reporting project risks.

Requirements

- You must have previous experience as a planning manager.
- You must have a bachelors degree in construction engineering or related field.
- Qualified member of RIBA, ICE, RICS and CIOB
- Minimum 15 years experience in planning/project controls.
- Experienced with using Primavera P6 and CESMM 3 or 4 method of measurement.
- Have experience of managing projects.
- Be able to communicate effectively with project controls teams and motivate the team to hit KPIs.
- Strong leadership skills, and be able to work in a multi-discipline team.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills, and good presentation skills.
