Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Conduct task and duties specified for the Scheduler position and responsible for development, integration, follow up and analyzing the scheduling process KPIs for assigned assets.

Follow work execution and liaises with Operations and maintenance teams within his area of responsibility.

Resolve scheduling problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and reduce maintenance backlogs.

Tasks and Duties:

- Extract from SAP all notifications on a daily basis for RBWS review meeting, distribute to all concerned and coordinate the meeting.
- Evaluate availability of planned resources and identify work orders that are ready for scheduling.
- Rank work orders for scheduling in such a way that most important ones get executed first considering all other work conditions and constraints.
- Align maintenance activities for all disciplines to minimize equipment downtime and efficiently utilization of resources.
- Align and coordinate all support services requirement for W/Shop, Rigging, Scaffolding, Insulation etc. activities as per job demands.
- Develop and monitor the weekly and monthly asset/integrated schedule.
- Close follow up of work execution to measure workforce and scheduling effectiveness.
- Update work order status as per job progress.
- Backlog clearance for all completed jobs (notifications and orders).
- Manage schedule breakers and update schedule accordingly.
- Work with crew supervisors to develop schedules for short notice SD opportunities and update SPLIST (Shutdown Priority List).
- Organize and lead the weekly scheduling meeting with maintenance and operations in his area of responsibilities.
- Freeze the schedule and communicate to all concern team members the schedule.
- Daily and frequent contacts with area maintenance to get execution and schedules update and solve any related issues with scheduling.
- Issue weekly / monthly schedule compliance status and KPIs report for his area and justify for not compliance.
- Develop schedule for any equipment outage and projects in his assigned area.

Requirements

- Diploma in any maintenance discipline (Mechanical, instrument or Electrical)

- 8 years maintenance experience in an oil or gas process plant, including site activities and scheduling experience. Planning experience preferred.

- Good written and spoken English.

- Computer literacy, including use of maintenance SAP PM CMMS software tool, and scheduling.

- Microsoft Project or Primavera software tool.
