Scheduling Manager - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

This role will be responsible for oversight of project controls and management reporting on a High Speed Rail Line from Mecca to Medinah.

The project is considered an urgent need at the present time for several reasons, the foremost of these reasons is the growing number of pilgrims year after year, as well as the Umrah performers, visitors and residents who come to Makkah and Madinah throughout the year particularly during the seasons and holidays.

This is a senior role which provides oversight to the Executive Steering Committee on the program. CH2M HILL is a subcontractor to URS which has the contract. Our role is to vet the information provided by the contractor and PMC to assure the Steering Committee that they are getting early warning of major events and to provide assurance that the cost and schedule are reported accurately.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage project controls and support function, and plan, coordinate and confirm the completeness and accuracy of all project control activities and reporting
- Provide consultation to project managers, project controllers, clients in project controls practices, processes and procedures
- Review Claims
- Contribute to development of global project controls approach and improvement within CH2M HILL business units
- Advice Client on scheduling issues
- Responsible for creating and maintaining master schedule.
- Lead and/or participate in the identification of risks and eliminate or implement mitigation measures.

Requirements

- B.S. Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- 20 years of related experience.
- 5 years experience on Rail projects.
- Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6, Excel & Word.
- Experience managing master schedule.
- Advantage of speaking Arabic/Spanish.
