School Improvement Partner

Job description / Role

The School Improvement Partner will join a small, but growing team who are responsible for quality school improvement delivered to our schools.

The challenge and support given to the schools is essential in enabling them to become outstanding schools, providing our students with the very best start in life.

Responsible to and directed by The Chief Academic Officer and will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the improvement of our schools
- Monitoring and supporting the overall effectiveness of our schools
- Helping develop and support a package of improvement services to our schools
- Providing up-to-date reports on school effectiveness to the CAO
- Leading on INSET, training and briefing updates for school leaders.

Requirements

Main Responsibilities will be to:
- Monitor the performance standards achieved and the quality of education in all schools
- Ensure that the necessary actions needed to bring about improvement are implemented quickly and effectively and to ensure that those actions have the required impact and are sustainable
- Monitor the impact of the intervention strategies
- Agree and recommend challenging and meaningful targets for improved attainment
- Work with the Leadership team to disseminate highly effective practices across the schools
- Develop and ensure high quality services, including CPD
- Work in partnership with Principals, school leaders and management teams, including Heads of Section and Subject Coordinators
- Keep abreast of local and international national policy and research in relation to School

Effectiveness
- Attend key events in the life of Schools
- Have responsibility for and carry out such other duties as required by the CAO.
