Second Line IT/Technology Support Engineer - 12 months + contract- Qatar
Adecco are recruiting for out clients Qatar Office a second/ 2nd line IT/Technology support engineer on an initial 12 months contract to start ASAP.
Job Description:
- Ability to provide end users with quick, comprehensive, and professional support on all end user issues
- Telephone and face to face /onsite support experience required
Requirements
- Administration, installation and configuration of Windows XP - Window 8.1
- Administration of Windows Server 2003 - 2012 R2
- Administration of Exchange Server 2007/2010 (creating and managing mailboxes and distribution groups)
- Administering Active Directory (management of user and computer accounts and distribution/security groups)
- Management of Group Policy Objects (deployment of configuration settings for users and computers)
- Understanding of network services such as DNS and DHCP in a Windows Server environment
- Creation and management of network shared folders in a Windows Server environment
- Administration of share and NTFS permissions in a Windows Server environment
- Administration and support for Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
Other skills and experience:
- Familiarity with and understanding of the ITIL framework and associated concepts such as categories of support cases (incident, service request, problem, change)
- Ability to manage multiple support cases simultaneously and prioritise appropriately
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English with other ICT staff and users
