Job description / Role
• Assistant to the General Manager.
• Ensure a range of administrative and secretarial support to the office of the GM, Engineering unit and Business Unit functional heads is provided.
• Ensure travel arrangements for the GM and staff are coordinated and communicated timely and accurately.
• Transcribe from handwritten drafts, shorthand notes or dictating systems.
• Diary/calendar management.
• Minutes of meetings taking. Prepare and circulate minutes of meetings, agendas and circulars to staff.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
• Ensure availability and readiness of the meeting rooms, stationaries and office equipment.
• Other secretarial duties as required.
Requirements
Education, Experience, & Certifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. College degree is desirable.
• 2 to 3 years clerical or secretarial experience is required.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills including fluency in English (spoken and written).
