Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As the Section Head - Accounts Receivable you will be maintaining the integrity of the accounting of revenue and cost of sales records relating to IGW, Interconnect and MVNO's , distributors and roaming partners,prepaid and postpaid, ensuring relevant IFRS is adhered, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up with respect to receivables and payable for the whole of the company and also responsible for the overall integrity of the AR module with respect to APM and POs daily monitoring.

You will be responsible of supervising the accountants booking revenue and cost of sales and ensure matching concept is applied accurately and consistently in all areas of revenue & COS bookings, ensuring timely closure and transfer of information to general ledger from subsystems ( AR, Ascade ,Geneva, MACH ), ensuring receivable section maintains accurate customer balances and that timely follow-up is done with respect parties to ensure timely collections for APM and POS collections, carrying out monthly reconciliations of all the balance sheet accounts related to revenue and cost of sales, closing AR subsystem and ensures reconciliation with ledger, preparing movement of APM and POS subsystems and ensuring reconciliation with ledger, booking banking related transfers and entries in the general ledger and reconciles investigates and clears payment related clearing accounts in the ledger, coordinating with the treasury accountant with respect to maintain appropriate balances in the respective receivable collection accounts relating to MACH, preparing regular KPI reportrelating to APM/POS collections, preparing and coordinating monthly review of all receivables collectable with the company with all stakeholders ( Billing , Wholesale , Finance etcetra).

Requirements

You should have a minimum of 6 years working expereince in operation finance and has the exposure to supervising a small team with a degree in Accounting.

* Excellent written and spoken English
* Good written and spoken Arabic would be an advantage
