Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reports to: Field HSE Manager

Lead the Environment Section. Supervise and coordinate the environment issues which are included in the company's Environment Protection Strategy. Environment plan and budget.

Tasks and Duties
- Manage the environmental Specialist / Engineers team.
- Responsible for implementation of Environmental Monitoring Programmes including maintenance of compliance requirements.
- Responsible for Waste Management Strategy.
- Responsible for Managing Environmental Risk Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessments.
- Responsible for providing specialist support on the environmental management system and ISO 14001.
- Responsible for tracking all discharges and emissions to environment and for evaluating environmental performance against legal requirements?
- Support process to systematically manage the impact of petroleum operations activities on the environment and integrate the information into the local Operating Management System.
- Responsible for providing compliance and environmental advice on different environmental subjects.
- Manage resources for investigating incidents and assure the quality of incident investigation in petroleum operations.
- Manage the resources for coordination and quality assurance of environmental auditing.
- Responsible for external and internal Environmental reporting in the line with Legal and client requirements relating to the work activities and scope of the team.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree and further degree in environmental related subject.
- Minimum 15 years experience in environmental management.
- Minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas industry.
- Ability to provide innovative and effective solutions to complex business issues.
- Demonstrated track record in compliance and environmental management.
- Fluency in English.
